Mission Team Mission Statement: To provide our congregation with multiple opportunities to support individuals and organizations locally, nationally and internationally to relieve human suffering in the name of Christ.

The Mission Team is grateful for your continuing support of our mission projects.
We are blessed! Our clothing supplies are growing, with need for a few sizes. Our Wednesday volunteers are not only church members, but community volunteers. We are opening our Clothes Sanctuary for our community to shop on Tuesdays from 4-6:00 p.m., as well as Fridays from noon-2:00. God provides.
We need volunteers for these dates, and always more help on Wednesdays.

Sending out a big "Thank You" to the "First United Methodist Church." During the month of November they held a food drive for the "Free Friday Friendship Lunch."

Update - September 2026
Returnable bottles and cans:
Since we started returning bottles and cans in May of 2012, Jackie Brazo has returned 10,000 items. This has resulted in $1,000 going toward our mission trips.
We will continue to collect clean, rinsed out, not squashed cans and bottles in the wooden box between the doors at the circle drive entrance. But now, the money will go towards “Water for Life” in Liberia. Please continue to support this worthwhile project. But at the end of 2026, Jackie will be stepping down as the can returner. We are currently looking for someone to take on this ministry to replace Jackie, although she IS hard to replace!
